The BIG FINAL TEST

    POINT VALUE:

    Periods 1,4, & 7: (216 points); Periods 2 & 8: (108 points)

    Directions:

    To do well on this Final, be sure to do each of the following:

  1. NOTES:

    • Bring ALL of your notes for the entire school year to class. You may use these on the TEST.


  2. BOOK:

    • All Classes: Bring your book to class. Since the TEST questions all come from your notes, you will turn in your book during the taking of the TEST. Mr. Charon will call you to the back of the room to sign for your book.

      Please note that you will receive Extra Credit for returning any books besides your own! (10 points per book) These points will be added to your scores to improve your grade for this term. (These books will be accepted up to and including June 9th!)

  3. EXTRA CREDIT ITEMS:

    As with most of the tests given in class, you will be provided with opportunities for extra credit by responding correctly to one, two, or all three of the items discussed in the following section. (2 points each).

    This part of the test involves world music artists studied during the year. Be sure you know the following:

    • Celine Dion is from the province of Quebec in Canada.

    • Enya is from Ireland.

    • Youssou N'Dour is an African music artist from Senegal.

    • Ravi Shankar is from India.

    The TEST is scheduled for June 2nd (Odd Classes) and June 3rd (Even Classes)

    Please note: Journals for Periods 1, 4, & 7 will be due the day of the TEST.
